Ah, romance – the genre that dominates bookshelves and is widely read by everyone, whether they admit it or not. The framework is simple: there is a woman, and then there is a man, and they meet, and sparks fly. There are a lot of variations on it: historical, contemporary, thriller/suspense romance, and so many others. There is, simply, a romance novel for everyone. It’s a genre that can appeal to just about everyone, because of the pure pleasure of reading a good love story.
